Membership ModuleThe membership file can be viewed as the Master List of entries, both members and non-members alike. Its main purpose of is to reserve car classings and provide points control and storage for a racing season. It is also a fantastic source for importing entries into newly created events. The membership file provides functionality to enter, edit, and modify entries in the master list. It even accepts imports itself from text files (import files) and from events as well. Various reports allow printing full directories, email lists, points reports and a host of others. The reports can be printed, generated as HTML files and even as text files. The reports provide support including header files, footer files and supports format options via supplied HTML Style sheets. Events and Membership files have a close bond and although kept separate, they provide a means to exchange entry information according to the desired affects. Events are considered snap-shots in time but can have much of their data provided from a Membership file, as well as other sources. Likewise events can export data into Membership files to update the master list as well as the points. Events are linked to a Membership file and use the points information from that file when Updating points, but the points are stored within the Points columns of the Membership file. NCCC ClubsPoints control for NCCC is identical to that mentioned above but can be extended to include the NCCC Points Extension Module. This module provides additional points functionality as required by the NCCC. This includes:
