AXWare ProTS

AXWare ProTS is our latest offering for the autocrossing community for SCCA Pro Solo style events. A system using the RaceAmerica wireless Drag Tree and T-Link Wireless technology consists of the hardware with our software interface.  We have been granted the go ahead to provide these systems by the Rally/Solo and Special Programs of Sports Car Club of America (SCCA). 

RaceAmerica and AXWare Systems are offering these systems for purchase or as well as in a rental capacity (more information and pricing forthcoming).  It is expected that since the cost of a full blown system is out of the reach of most clubs, rentals will be made affordable so that we can spread these events across the country, aside from the normal SCCA National PRO Solo Series.  This is quite exciting actually!

Since the Drag Tree is the largest single most expensive item for these type of events, rentals will offer the system at a reasonable cost.  In addition, to help reduce the cost even further, clubs that already have T-LINK systems can utilize their existing hardware.

This product is the state of the art solution for PRO Solo style events, which included our dedicated software interface to manage the event based on the SCCA PRO Solo Rulebook, providing all the features and functions that make PRO Solo what it is!

Our solution includes a high degree of automation to help manage the needs of a PRO Solo event including managing of classes, sessions and challenges.  The system is designed in hand with our AXWare TS solution but extended and customized to meet the needs of the PRO Solo feature set and with two lane drag race support, and real time standings throughout the events. The events are managed in a typical PRO Solo fashion that provides 3 rounds of head to head competition, where the fast times (from each lane) dictate  the standings.  Once the 3 Rounds of head to head competition are complete the system creates and manages the Challenge rounds automatically.  In even provides a Drag Ladder style control to allow you to manage the pairings in all Challenges and retains all functionality based on the 2011 SCCA PRO Solo rule book. The software will be modified with any rule changes necessary for the upcoming seasons, as necessary.

The timing hardware contains two important sets of components, the RaceAmerica Drag Tree, and T-LINK units that manage the finish line and sector timing, for both lanes.  The Drag Tree manages all aspects that deal with staging, RT's and 60ft times, and of course supporting red lights and staging processes, as expected.

The system can be used with normal displays and extended to the RaceAmerica Drag Race Digital Displays is the need arises.

T-LINK Solution

The AXWare ProTS system was designed with the T-LINK technology that consists of industrial grade wireless with excellent range capability. In short, here are some summarized aspects of the system:

• Long range industrial grade wireless transmissions in the 900Mhz range.
• The PRO Solo Drag tree contains it's own CPU that manages all of the staging, RT and 60 ft times.
• T-LINKS are used to provide the Finish line components (which allows you to use existing units from your Solo solutions).
• T-LINKS can be used for Sector timing - the only system in the world that offers sector timing for time-trail, solo, and PRO Solo events. 
• The software provides:
  • Bumping for L1, L2, B1, B2 and R1 classes
  • Pre-Configured with Super Challenge, Ladies Challenge, Bonus Challenge and Honda Challenge drag style eliminations.
  • Controls first 3 rounds (heads up competition) supporting 2 runs per lane for each round.
  • Automated processes that seed Challenge rounds based on the differentials and qualifying positions.
  • Automatically manages Dial-ins for Challenge competition.
  • Ladder Style results for Challenge Competition.
  • Various reports that contain can be tailored to your needs.
  • Supports SCCA Memberships automatically
  • Shares functionality with AXWare TS (Solo software) so the learning curve is minimal if you are already familiar with AXWare TS.
