Tutorial - Page 10

Event Completion

Once the event has been completed, and all cars have complete all their runs, the results can be viewed on screen and various reports generated.  The order of the results can be altered in the Registration/Standings Grid for viewing on screen by sorting the data on different columns.  This is achieved by double clicking that appropriate column on the Headings. In addition, the columns that you want to view are be selected as described below.

Selecting Columns to Hide or View

By setting your focus onto the heading rows and pressing the right-mouse function, the menu (shown on the right) will be displayed.

Select the columns that you want to view or hide.  The selections will toggle on and off, respectively.

Note: your selections will be stored when you exit the application and will remain active the next time you open a event file.  It is considered a generic program setting.

Note: During the tutorial only the timing columns were shown.  To achieve that the "Hide All Hideable Columns" was selected. To view all the columns select the "View All Viewable Columns".  This will provide all the default data columns that the program supports.  You can selectively hide or view each column in the menu.

Sorting The Registration Grid

Almost all data columns can act as the sort field. To sort on a column, double click on the heading in the respective column and the entire Registration List will be sorted. For example: double clicking  on the Pax data column results in a Pax based listing, as shown in the following table:

Note: this has no impact on the printed reports and is only a mechanism to view the data on the screen. Some data columns will switch from ascending to descending order.  Give it a try.

Reports

Reports can be written to the printer, text file, or as HTML formatted output.  The Reports menu provides menu options that allow you to direct the reports to a files.  They are Print to File (Text) and Print to WEB file (HTML).  Select the appropriate style of output you require and then select the report you are interested in.  Here are examples of the event in the tutorial:

  1. Final Report for Tutorial
  2. Pax Report for Tutorial
  3. Raw Report for Tutorial
  4. Summary Report for Tutorial
