AXWareSpeed - Timers

Single Lane Speed Traps are based on a speed traps that use a trigger at the start and finish of the trap and are setup for various lengths depending on your track. Traps can be be offered up to 2 Intermediate traps.

  • FDS Timing Speed trap - FDS Timing Solutions is a competition level timing manufacturer from Switzerland offering a variety of motorsports configurations.  In this case, our speed trap packages offer the following:
    • a very flexible setup for their FDS TBox that allows us to configure systems for up to 3 speed traps.
    • For a Finish Line speed trap on a single FDS TBox is required (plus photoheads, cabling etc)
    • Intermediate Speed traps require an additional sets of photoheads. A Single TBox can manage up to 3 traps (6 sets of photoheads - RX and TX)
    • FDS Speed Traps consist of 2 sets of photoheads (RX and RF) per trap.
