AXWareSpeedX2 - 2 Lane Speed Traps

2 Lane Speed Traps offer side by side traps.  Such traps require double the hardware compared to a single lane setup but are managed by our AXWareSpeedX2 software (resembling a dual lane drag style configuration).  

  • FDS Timing 2 Lane Speed traps - FDS Timing Solutions is a competition level timing manufacturer from Switzerland offering a variety of motorsports configurations.  In this case, our speed trap packages offer the following:
    • They offer a very flexible setup for their FDS TBox that allows us to configure systems for up to 3 speed traps per lane
    • For a dual Finish Line speed trap setup a single FDS TBox is required (plus 4 sets of photoheads, cabling etc)
    • Adding Intermediate Speed traps requires an additional FDS TBox so that additional photoheads can be configured for each trap.
    • A complete setup with 3 traps per lane will consist of 2 TBoxs, and 6 pairs for photoheads (RX and TX).
