AXWareRollRacing uses 2 Lane Speed Traps that provide a Starting Speed Trap and a Finish Speed Trap. The Starting Speed trap is used to validate a race based on a Maximum Start Speed.

  • FDS Timing 2 Lane Speed traps - FDS Timing Solutions is a competition level timing manufacturer from Switzerland offering a variety of motorsports configurations.  In this case, our speed trap packages offer the following:
    • For a Roll Racing uses 2  FDS TBoxs and 8 photoheads for the Start Speed Trap and the Finish Speed Trap. Optionally a Mid Speed Trap can be used with the addition of 4 more photoheads.
    • The typical setup is a 10ft Start Speed Trap (measured distances), while the Finish Speed Trap is 132ft (measured distances).
